When Bike Auckland challenged the transport agencies and Auckland Council to turn a disused motorway off-ramp into a path for people to walk, wheel, and bike, they didn’t expect that less than a year later, they would be cycling along a new Auckland icon: Te Ara I Whiti, the Lightpath. Ten years on, we’re celebrating the impact the Lightpath has had.
