A REMINDER THAT THIS MARKET IS ON THIS SATURDAY! plus – Read below why ChildFund wants your old unusable bikes at the market.

GET ALONG, WE ARE SURE IT WILL BE A GREAT EVENT.

We also wanted to make you aware of a great initiative taking place at the bike market – this is the information we received from ChildFund:

ChildFund is launching their call for old unusable bikes this weekend at the Auckland Bike Market to be held at the Mt Albert YMCA stadium this Saturday 12th July  from 10am – 2pm, ChildFund representatives will be on hand to collect the bikes. Appreciate that this is very late notice, however, if any of your members have any old bikes they’d like to move on ChildFund would be keen to see them. ChildFund will also be organising a number of other collections over the coming months which we would be happy to let you know about if this is of interest to your members?

Auckland Transport are organising a bike market on 12 July. It is a great initiative, so I hope a lot of you can get along.

Here is a summary from the web page:

Are you looking to buy an inexpensive bike? Thinking about selling your old bike?

The bike market will have a range of new and used bikes for sale at affordable prices. There is no fee for selling. If you are interested in buying a bike there will be bike mechanics on site to make sure your new ride is roadworthy and to make small adjustments for you.
