Whanau Tours – Ōtara

Bring the whanau and join us for an easy night ride around our Ōtara town centre!

It will be an easy, relaxing way for whanau to participate, get active, do something together as a family unit and meet your neighbours at the same time.

Our excursion begins at The Ōtara Bike Burb in the Ōtara Town centre, where our guides will take you on a fun easy ride around our immediate area and back.

We’ll put on our provided helmets if you don’t have one, make sure everyone is familiar with the equipment and our safety protocol, and set out to explore the area. We’ll get a little exercise, enjoy the fresh air, and return to the OBB for free light refreshments.

Includes:
 On-site orientation and bicycle fitting
 Bike guide. Each guide is equipped with radio/cellphone and first aid kit, as well as bicycle repair kit & extra tubes.
 Free light refreshments at the end.
 Helmets provided if you need one and we have limited bikes available for those who need one.
Suggestions for Bikers:
 Please wear clothing appropriate for the weather and athletic closed-toe shoes. Please bring your water bottle, sunglasses, sunscreen, camera, lip balm, hat and anything else you may need.
