Bike Kaipātiki – Bike Recycling with Wairau Zero Waste Hub
An event every month that begins at 9:00 am on day Third of the month, repeating until November 15, 2025
Bike Kaipatiki is excited to announce a new partnership with Wairau Zero Waste Hub! We’ll be hosting regular bike repair days to rescue bikes from the waste stream and get them back into the community.
These bikes will then be donated to our community partners who help people in need.
Join us on the 3rd Saturday of every month (except December and January) from 9am to 1pm!
While public servicing isn’t available on these days, we encourage everyone to come down and see what we’re doing. We also welcome volunteers of all skill levels to lend a hand! It’s a great opportunity to learn new skills and gain experience fixing bikes.
No pressure to stay the whole time, and you don’t need to attend every month.
Feel free to pop in for a bit or the whole session, and come whenever you’re available.
