Three Maunga Bicycle Safari
Join Bicycle Safari for a stunning 3-hour cycling adventure as they climb three of Tāmaki Makaurau’s magnificent maunga – Puketāpapa, Ōwairaka, and Te Tātua-a-Riukiuta (Mt Roskill, Mt Albert, Big King).
Start: 9:00 AM at the Bike Hub Mt Roskill, Wesley Community Centre, 740 Sandringham Rd Ext
Finish: 12:00 PM – same location
Distance: 17 km
Route: A mix of off-road paths and quiet roads
Coffee stop: Two Little Chickens, Mt Albert
Recommended age: 13 and up
You’ll enjoy panoramic views, inspiring talks at each summit, and the chance to explore the beauty of our maunga by bike. A good level of fitness or an eBike is recommended due to some steep sections.
