A new two-way protected cycleway on Victoria street is providing a crucial safe cycle connection from the (existing) Nelson and Victoria Street cycleways to the emerging Te Waihoritiu Station, and Te Hā Noa. This hard-fought Bike Auckland victory spans just two blocks, between Federal Street and Nelson street, before Te Hā Noa takes over. We love that a cycleway right next to our Sky Tower shows progress towards the vision of the clean and sustainable Aotearoa we promote ourselves to be.

When funds are available, this interim solution will be upgraded to extend the Te Hā Noa Linear Park further along Victoria Street as detailed in the City Centre Master Plan.
