Every year, the lovely people at NextBike team up with Auckland Transport to bring you fresh views of the city by bike.
Restaurant Week by Bike last month was so popular it filled up before we even had a chance to blog about it!
Luckily there are a few spots left on the ArtWeek tours over the next two Saturdays – see details below.
And, if you’re relatively new to the whole idea of biking round the city, you might want to check out the super-friendly City Riding tours, which run on Sundays 18 October and 8 November.
ArtWeek Bike Tours
This is the fifth year NextBike has worked with Auckland Transport to guide people around the brilliant ArtWeek galleries and public art-pieces. The local gallery owners will give you an introduction to the exhibiting artists. The bike tour is free.

City Riding
And if you love the tours that NextBike is running and would like the confidence to explore the city on bike and by yourself, one of these courses may be for you. It assumes you can already ride, signal and look behind. But maybe you want some ideas on making yourself easier to see, and choosing safe routes in the city.
