Big thanks to Pippa Coom for letting us know that the Waitemata Local Board has now posted its Greenways plan online. There is also a lot of great information about the future plans of the Waitmemata Local Board.
These are such a great way to provide links in the cycling network and create pleasant places to cycle. They have been a big success in places like Seattle, Vancouver and Portland (the city that should in my opinion, along with Dublin, be the blueprint for Auckland’s cycling growth) and I am sure they will be in Auckland as well.
