I believe people of all ages should feel able to bike safely to get around. Auckland needs more climate-friendly transport to ensure a sustainable and resilient Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland, protecting our environment and communities for future generations. If elected, I commit to making a safe, connected cycle network a priority.

We are progressing creating a safe connected cycle network across Upper Harbour for families, youth and seniors. We are making it safer for students to walk and cycle to school. We have just approved work on the Okahukura Albany Loop and I have suggested QR codes be added to signage to show the whole loop to facilitate users.
