We’re really happy to say that our good friends at Urban Design practice matter have won a New Zealand Institute of Architects Auckland Architecture Award – for the cycling art installation they did on Urbis DesignDay on the old Newton Street motorway off-ramp!
As matter said to us “It was a little bit political, and it was a temporary installation, and it still got the award!” Well-deserved, we say.
This proves once again that cycling is chic again.
So let’s be inspired and make it normal again!
