We are celebrating! On 27 June 2023 the Auckland Transport (AT) Board approved the Great North Rd street improvement project, directing the Chief Executive to find additional funding to ensure its completion.
While we are disappointed with the overall process this project has gone through, we acknowledge AT’s constrained budget and are glad to see AT following through for the community who have been waiting for so long. We are super grateful for the thousands of hours community individuals and organisations have put towards ensuring a safer Great North Road for all who use it.
