UoA – Free battery and safety check for your e-bike or e-scooter
Monday March 25 @ 7:30 am - Thursday March 28 @ 4:30 pm
This program is free and accessible to all University of Auckland staff and students. It is hosted by Property Services through our service provider, Bespoke Cycles. We will be using bike cages across our campuses, allowing you to securely leave your bikes and scooters while they await their check. Pick up can be made later in the day, and no bookings are necessary for this service.
Each check can include some or all of the following items, depending on your vehicle type:
• Battery voltage check
• Battery discharge current check
• Battery damage assessment
• Battery charger check
• Brake check
• Full bolt check
• Headset bearing safety check
• Brake pad wear check
• Chain wear check
• Minor Brake adjustment (if required)
• Test ride and fine-tune
• Any other minor adjustments required
• Wheel Bearing check
