Te Punga Community Day

Ngāti Whātua Ōrākei are hosting a community open day to promote Te Punga, a new housing development in Ōwairaka Mount Albert. Te Punga will comprise 51 architecturally designed, stylish townhouses, expected to be on the market by the end of 2026. Te Punga is the first stage of planned housing development over the next 10-15 years.

Ngāti Whātua Ōrākei invites the community to explore the development’s cycle paths and roads, find out what makes Te Punga special, and enjoy free coffee, ice cream, and a sausage sizzle! A bike mechanic will be on site for minor tune-ups and advice.

When: Sunday 5 October, 10am–1pm

Where: Access off Laurel Street or via Waterview Shared Path
