Ride Leader Workshop

Are you passionate about cycling and keen to share this passion with others? If so, then train up and become a cycle group leader. Learn how to lead a group and cycle safely on the road. This workshop is open to all types and levels of cyclists. Registrations essential.

Hosted by Auckland Transport and Bike Auckland in conjunction with Cycling NZ.

Specific topics include ride pre-briefings, equipment checks, route planning, incident management, and debriefing.

You will also learn essential group management skills for leading others on shared paths, through roundabouts, intersections and traffic lights, and meet like-minded people who also love biking as much as you do.
