Circle the City Ride with Paul Steely White

Thursday July 19 @ 12:00 pm - 1:30 pm

Free

Join Bike Auckland and Paul Steely White, Executive Director of New York’s Transportation Alternatives, on a lunchtime ride around the city to show the tremendous progress in our inner city cycle network since Paul’s last visit to Auckland in 2013.

Ride route

We will meet at City Works Depot outside Best Ugly Bagels and ride up the Nelson St Cycleway, along Te Ara I Whiti/Lightpath, back down the Grafton Gully Cycleway, and along the Quay St extension to Okahu Bay. We will then turn around and ride back along Quay St, through the Viaduct and Wynyard Quarter, along the Westhaven boardwalk to finish at Buoy Cafe in Westhaven where we will discuss plans for Skypath.

Bonus!

At 5:30pm that evening, Paul will be presenting on “How We Win Change: Lessons from New York”, a free event in Wynyard Quarter. For more information and to RSVP for the evening event, visit: https://www.facebook.com/events/1481535491952717/
