A Cycling Works Campaign for Tamaki Makaurau

Our organisation supports the call for safer cycling infrastructure in Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland. We believe a network of safe and connected cycleways will make the region more vibrant, climate-positive, and a joy to get around. 

Cycling is good for the region and for business:

  • Increase sales
  • Reduce congestion
  • Happier streets
  • Transport options
  • Boosts productivity
  • Increased safety
  • Value for money
  • A hallmark of successful cities

We urge transport policy-makers in local and central government to invest in cycling infrastructure for the sake of our staff and customers, our business, and anyone who ever needs to get around this big, beautiful city.

Let us know why cycling is important to your organisation in particular. Does it benefit your staff? Your day-to-day operations? If they don’t exist right not, how could seperated bike lanes and such help you?

Also, if you could get this statement signed off by the CEO (or equivalent), that would be helpful! We are told that this made the UK Cycling Works campaign more effective, so we may as well try for it too!
