Now up in this Cycle Summit video, we have Rochelle Young, from Sport Waitakere, describing the cooperation between Council and various other agencies and clubs in encouraging cycling for sport and recreation in West Auckland.
You can also watch her describe a new parks project near Ranui (more on this on Friday!), with all kinds of facilities for people to ride bikes for sports and recreation. West Auckland has a reputation for encouraging cycling in Auckland, and it’s great to see them build on this.
