The cycleway alongside the open section of Te Hā Noa is finally planter box free! Now we can safely ride along Victoria street from Queen street westwards all the way to Victoria Park. 

One last section of Te Hā Noa, Victoria Street’s linear park, remains under construction – the block between Queen Street and Lorne Street. Once complete, the Linear Park will connect Albert Park and Victoria Park, and provide space for all of the people using Te Waihorotiu (Central Rail Link) station. Check out Greater Auckland’s write up about the history behind Te Hā Noa and the advocacy from ourselves, Greater Auckland, and Generation Zero which supported it to be delivered.
