WANTED: VOLUNTEERS!
Help cycling take centre stage in downtown Auckland this Christmas with ChildFund New Zealand’s Tree of Bikes and you can make a difference for children living in poverty!
ChildFund New Zealand is seeking volunteers to lend a hand on Saturday 15 and/or Sunday 16 November organising more than 150 bikes donated by generous Kiwis to help build a very special Christmas tree in Queens Wharf. Volunteers will meet in Onehunga to sort and move the bikes, which will either be fitted with lighting ready to adorn the spectacular Christmas Tree or be donated to local community groups.
Come and be part of something special this Christmas – Auckland’s first ever Christmas tree made entirely of bicycles to help raise money for children living in extreme poverty! With enough helpful hands we can finish the job in one day.
We’re also looking for volunteers to help at special events at Queens Wharf, Auckland on Friday 28 November and Saturday 14 December.
Please email intern@childfund.org.nz to offer your help to this worthy cause.
Thank you!
Please see attached a Christmassy bike photo.
Thank you so much,
