If you ride along Scenic Drive, Atkinson Road, Huia Road, Piha Road and other roads in the Waitakere Ranges, be aware that there will be lane closures and other works in the area over the next few months.
Network builder Visionstream is working with Chorus to build the ultrafast broadband network in the Waitakere Ranges. It says there will be signage up at affected areas a week before works begin. Visionstream suggests keeping an eye out for them and considering alternative routes. It also apologises for any inconvenience created by the works.All road surfaces will be reinstated to council standards once the cabling work has been completed.
