Video highlights from the Auckland Cycling Summit

We have been a bit slack passing on the video links to the Cycle Summit from the other week – but here it is.

It opens with Stephen Town, Director of Auckland/Northland NZTA, and features Matthew Rednall from Auckland Transport, Barb Cuthbert from CAA, Paul McArdle from Bikes in Schools, Callum McNair who brought us the Harbour Bridge Clip-On event, a rep from the Owen Glenn Foundation, which recently gave a bike track and lots of bikes to Otara, Rhys Jones from OraTaioi and Ian Maxwell, head of Parks, Auckland Council.

If you want to hear more from these speakers – watch this space for links to their presentations.

The highlights end with a comment from Kevin Wright, Manager of Auckland Council’s Transport Dept. If you want to see passion to change Auckland for cycling, and snippets of how we are collaborating across the sector to achieve this – you’ll see it in this 3 minute You Tube video.
