DESCRIPTION:Are you passionate about safer\, more accessible streets? Feeling stuck on how to make change happen? This workshop is for you. \nJoin fellow transport advocates for a hands-on\, practical session designed to help you tackle the challenges you’re facing and build community-led solutions that work. \nThe workshop will be led by Marie Guerreiro\, Executive Director of All Aboard. Marie is a positive-impact executive manager and storyteller with over eight years’ experience in sustainability-focused communications\, project management\, and community development across the globe. Her work is grounded in people-first\, values-driven strategy and the belief that change begins with connection — one person\, one story\, one action at a time. \nThis interactive three-hour session covers: \n\nThe foundations of effective advocacy\nPractical tools for community engagement\nCollaborative brainstorming on common transport advocacy challenges\nHow to use storytelling to drive real-world change\n\nWhether you’re just getting started or deep into local campaigns\, you’ll leave with skills\, insights\, and connections to fuel your next steps. \nRSVP for catering requirements. \nThanks to Beautification Trust for their continuing support of our community workshops! \nAbout Marie Guerreiro:\nMarie Guerreiro is a Positive-impact Executive Manager & Storyteller\, specialised in sustainable practices and environmental/social initiatives. \nWith a trilingual Master’s degree in International Affairs and over eight years of experience in marketing communications\, business development\, and project and relationship management\, she brings both strategic insight and a strong people-first approach to her work.\nAlways prioritising missions that would maximise positive impact\, by helping organisations embed sustainability into their practices or developing community and/or environmental initiatives; Her pro bono engagements across Africa\, Latin America\, Europe\, and Asia have deepened her commitment to social and environmental justice. \nCurrently Executive Director of the non-profit All Aboard\, she is also the founder of a storytelling initiative that uses inspiring narratives to drive social change. \nI believe change begins with connection\, one person\, one story\, one action at a time.
