Bike Henderson ride leaves New Lynn at 1pm for the reverse journey to Avondale /Mt Albert. You have the option to finish there\, or if you’re still feeling strong\, to continue on the Waterview path and NW cycleway out to Te Atatū /Henderson. Family friendly ride at slow/medium pace. Bring your own bikes\, water\, snacks etc!

DESCRIPTION:Bike theft is on the rise in NZ\, and Bike Auckland have partnered up with 529 Garage to put a stop to it.\nhttps://project529.com/…/organizat…/bikeauckland/landing\n529 Garage is the world’s largest community-powered bike recovery service.\nRegister your bike today to protect it and increase the chances of finding it if the worst happens.\nIt’s free to use and your personal data is safe.\nBike Mt Albert will be at the Alan Wood Reserve/Bollard Avenue\, Owairaka on Sunday morning from 10am – 12noon.\nWe’ll help you register your bikes\, and give you a free shield for each bike\, to mark it as part of the anti-theft scheme.\nEnjoy a short ride along the fabulous Te Auaunga pathway and have fun at the pump track and māra hūpara (Maori playground) as well!
