If elected to represent Waitematā Local Board, I, Connor Sharp, pledge:
I believe people of all ages should feel able to bike safely to get around. Auckland needs more climate-friendly transport to ensure a sustainable and resilient Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland, protecting our environment and communities for future generations. If elected, I commit to making a safe, connected cycle network a priority.
Comments
I fully support Bike Auckland’s work, and would love to see cycling be a safe, practical, and fun choice to get around our city for all walks of life. By building a connected, physically separated cycle network, we allow everyone to get around in the way we choose – and also lower emissions! Great for people, and great for climate.
With the Auckland Transport reforms set to give more transport powers to Auckland Council and elected members, your vote this election is more important than ever. If you want progress on getting better cycling infrastructure and walkable streets, make sure to vote City Vision for local board and Council.
