It’s the beginning of the month again, and the Spokes Ladies are on a roll!
Join them on Wednesday 1st March for a friendly, casual ride. It’s a super friendly bunch, and all bike types/ styles/ ages/ fitness levels and speeds are encouraged.
The Spokes Ladies Rides, brought to you by Frocks on Bikes, have a ‘give it a go’ inclusive policy. It doesn’t matter whether you’re a newbie or hardcore, it’s just about getting women of all kinds on bikes together.
- 6pm Meet at the entrance to St Kevins Arcade (191 -197 Karangahape Road)
- Have photos of you and your bike taken by a lovely professional photographer. NB the photo shoot isn’t compulsory, but gives you a chance to be part of a growing and beautiful portfolio of everyday Aucklanders on bikes, for AT’s “I love my ride” campaign.
- 6.30pm The group ride sets off to the Rocky Nook Bowling Club in Kingsland for a quick game of Lawn Bowls (bring a cheeky $10 to play – and the bar will be open)
- 7.30 – 45pm We head to Farang Thai restaurant in Kingsland for dinner (or just cruise off whenever you feel like it)
