Queen’s Birthday Night Ride!

Bike Auckland

Her majesty’s loyal subjects in Onehunga, Mangere, and Mangere Bridge are collaborating on an exciting family-friendly night right for the Friday of Queen’s Birthday Weekend – in the tradition of the Triple Teez Matariki rides, because it’s that time of year too.

Wrap up warm, light up your bikes and join the fun!

When: Friday 3 June, from 5.30pm

Where: Ride starts at Mangere Community House, 141 Robertson Rd.

Route: See below, via Paula from Bike Onehunga. Any questions? Ask below or on the FB event page.

Meet at the garage of Mangere Community House (Robertson Rd), or join in along the way. We will go down Robertson Rd > Walmsley > Mahunga, follow the path under the bridge that comes out at the end of Mangere Bridge, then ride along Kiwi Esplanade to Ambury Farm.

Feel free to meet somewhere in Onehunga and join the ride at the end of Mangere Bridge (meet us near the toilet block).

Make sure your lights are in working order. Bring a picnic or something for the BBQ (it will be dark by the time we get there!). We can take a walk through the farm in search of the glow worm caves before heading home again, completing the loop by heading up Bader Drive.
