We’re finalising our plans for a visit to Auckland next month by Paul Steely White, Executive Director of Transportation Alternatives (New York’s highly successful professional advocacy group for public transport, walking and cycling – listing 100,000 supporters, thousands of members and several dozen staff).

Paul’s impressive international reputation reflects his success in helping transform New York for active and integrated transport.

He  is on his way to Perth and Melbourne, where he will be keynote speaker at major transport conference events.

Thanks to sponsorship by the NZTA and Cycle Action, he will be spending 3 days in Auckland en-route to the big country over the ditch.

We’re grateful to Council’s ‘Auckland Conversations‘ team and Beca for ensuring Aucklanders will get to hear him at an early evening event on Thursday 10th Oct. Other, smaller invite-only events are also planned.

Don’t miss out. Put this Thursday 10th Oct event in your diary now – we’ll blog a reminder once you can officially register for the event!
