DESCRIPTION:Celebrate Pride in Puketāpapa with a relaxed\, welcoming bike meet-up and ride into the city. \nFrom 5.30pm\, gather at Mt Roskill Bike Hub for: quick bike safety checks\, bike decorating\, snacks and refreshments\, music and good vibes\nYou’re welcome to come along even if you’re not riding – hang out\, decorate bikes and cheer riders on. \nThe ride:\nFrom 7pm\, registered bike riders will begin a short 5km ride along the off-road cycle path to Avondale Train Station\, then catch trains into the city.\nAll riders will regroup at Queens Wharf in time to join the main Bike Pals Pride Rave Ride. \nWho can join:\n– Everyone is welcome to join the gathering\n– If you wish to participate in the bike + train ride downtown\, you must pre-register as a bike rider here\n– Bike riders of all ages\, identities and bodies are welcome\, provided they are confident riding and able to balance safely\n– Helmets are essential \nBring your bike and let’s travel together to the Pride Rave! \nThis event is supported by Puketāpapa Local Board and hosted by Puketāpapa Climate Action & Bike Hub Mt Roskill.

DESCRIPTION:Join us for a glowtastic night cycle on the (second) longest night of the year! \nBling out your bike\, bring your lights\, and light up the night! \n4pm – Gather at the Bike Hub with your bike for face painting\, a free veggie sausage sizzle and bike lights to give away. \n5.30pm – We’ll ride together through Walmsley Park cycleway and discover pop-up storytelling and performances. \n6.30pm – Ride back to the Bike Hub. DESCRIPTION:Join us whānau for a bike ride to our community food forest Tā Tātou Māra Kai! \nWe’ll depart the Bike Hub (Wesley Community Centre\, 740 Sandringham Rd) at 10am and we’ll ride along Te Auaunga/ Oakley Creek through War Memorial Park and Keith Hay Park to Molley Green Reserve. \nKai will be provided to share a picnic together\, we’ll take a tour of the garden and they’ll be fun kids activities. \nBoth pedal powered and e-bikes are welcome! \nNo problem if you won’t be joining us for the ride\, come join us at the garden from 10.30am onwards. \nBike mechanics will be on site at Bike Hub Mt Roskill at the Wesley Community Centre\, 740 Sandringham Rd on Saturday 13th of April 9am – 1pm if your bike needs a tune-up before the ride. \nWe have a handful of bikes to loan.
