Gen Zero Microconference IThe event will focus on setting the scene for a liveable, low-carbon city, and showcase Generation Zero’s vision for Auckland. The event will have a number of expert speakers; from the CEO of Eco-Store, Malcolm Rands to Auckland Councillor, Penny Hulse, as well as the Chief Economist from Auckland Council, Geoff Cooper. They will each be speaking about their visions for Auckland as a liveable, low-carbon city.

Speakers will discuss a range of topics including the economic, social, environmental and health benefits of a liveable, low-carbon city.

Representatives from Auckland Council will also be running a workshop on the Low Carbon Action Plan that is being developed right now. They want to hear all your ideas on how Auckland can be a liveable, low-carbon city, so make sure to come along with lots of ideas.
