DESCRIPTION:[This event has been added to the Bike Auckland calendar as there is a cycling promo: by showing up on a bike you have a chance of winning one of 3 x $20 dinner vouchers.] \nWe are back THIS Friday (December 2nd). \nThere will be a selection of Auckland’s best street food along with music\, entertainment and the Te Atatu repair cafe. Save the date at https://www.facebook.com/events/379505157505295. \nDecember 2nd – 4:30pm to 8:30pm – Te Atatu South Community Centre. \nThe food trucks joining us on the night will be: \n\nTHOSE GUYS J and M – Philly cheese steak rolls\, burgers\, fries and irresistible cookies.\nBaltao – Filipino street food with scintillating marinated ribs\, pork belly bao’s or sisig rice.\nMama Yoya’s – Everyone’s favourite authentic Mexican cuisine queen.\nGozleme NZ – Flatbreads stuffed with goodness.\nDelicias Pascal Chilean Food – Empanadas and other Chilean treats\nCream Ice Cream – Delicious real fruit ice cream\nVictor & Vern’s – Serving your coffee\, iced chocolate and homemade soda fix.\n\nOn the entertainment menu there will be music\, free ReCreators Christmas wreath workshop\, $5 sandy art workshop and a live steel drumming performance. You can also pop up to the 249 Edmonton road art gallery for some Christmas shopping. \nCome grab some tasty food and soak up the community vibes. Plenty of seating available or picnic in the park. DESCRIPTION:Bike Auckland is excited to bring to you another Bike Auckland Community Workshop! Marketing and Promoting Cycling to Your Community focuses on marketing cycling events and your cycling group to your community to grow involvement and foster connections. \nBike Auckland’s own Sue Cardwell has extensive marketing and communications experience\, and will share her vast knowledge of marketing techniques and communications tips. You’ll learn how to understand your community\, find out who they are and why they’d like to connect to your group; learn how to easily communicate your group’s vision and activities to attract new members; and learn the simple ways to tick things along to keep your members engaged. \nA three-hour gathering\, there will be time to meet your neighbours and strengthen your own connections\, while we brainstorm how to bring people together around cycling in your Bike Burb! \nSue Cardwell is a MarComms professional who works with dynamic\, purpose-led organisations that are striving to make a difference to the lives of New Zealanders.
