You are most welcome to come and talk bikes without your bike! \nGuided ride\nA guided group ride for Westies and/or cycle purists (i.e. no ferry) begins at 4:15pm at the Northwestern Shared Path – Te Atatu Underpass\, where the Northwestern Shared path goes under Te Atatu Rd. You can make your own way there and join the guided ride! \nNote that this ride will have a significant amount of on-road riding\, but we will go at the pace of the lowest rider. However\, we recommend a moderate fitness level and/or e-bike. See map below.  \nNote: the guided ride is one-way. If you’re not comfortable riding back alone\, please ask someone and they may be able to ride back with you. DESCRIPTION:Bike Auckland members & supporters are warmly welcome at our Annual General Meeting\, which not only takes care of key business\, but also famously highlights the year’s most exciting developments for people on bikes & gives you a peek of what’s on the horizon. \nThe 2022 AGM will take place at Spaces Commercial Bay and online – a link will be distributed to registered attendees prior to commencement\, although online attendees will be unable to vote. \nThis meeting will include presentations from our Chair\, Tony Mitchell\, as well as key committee members and wider bike whānau. The session will also include an opportunity for Bike Auckland members to ratify essential business of the organisation. \nPlease note that although we welcome anyone to attend the AGM\, if you want to be able to vote for any Bike Auckland business\, you need to be a Bike Auckland member\, and you need to be joining the meeting in person. \nContact us in advance with any nominations for the roles of officers: Chair; Deputy Chair; Secretary and Treasurer\, and for any other matters you want to raise: info@bikeauckland.org.nz. The current Chair\, Deputy Chair and Treasurer have confirmed they will stand again for their respective positions in 2023. \nYou can sign up as a member and be part of the movement through our website. We currently have an AGM special – sign up for a year here and get three months free. We recommend ensuring your membership with Bike Auckland is up to date. \nWhen: Sunday 27 November 9.30am – 12pm\, for a 10am start (join us online at 10am). Followed by light refreshments \nWhere: Spaces Commercial Bay Tower\, 11/19 Customs St West\, Auckland CBD. We will have some lovely volunteers at the entrance directing you up the lifts. (let us know if you would like to be one of those lovely volunteers). \nThere will be places available for parking your bike\, please bring a decent bike lock
