Since then she has been a champion for safer streets\, transport options and community-led decision making. \nPippa’s presentation draws on her experience leading on projects through council processes and her on-going campaigning work. The Inner West projects that are currently underway after a decade of multiple consultations\, delays and vocal opposition provide a case study for how community advocates can build capacity to meaningfully engage\, influence decision makers and navigate the set-backs on the path to successful community outcomes. \nThis will be a facilitated workshop so that we can get some real ideas and inspiration on paper! Led by our team from Bike Hub Manurewa\, this ride will introduce you to safe and scenic bike paths and show off local gems in the community. \nWe will start and end the ride at Manurewa Library. \nWhat to expect:\nExplore local cycling paths with experienced guides.\nDiscover hidden gems and handy pathways.\nRide at an easy\, social pace – no pressure\, just fun!\nFREE kai at the end from a local café cabinet. \nBring your own bike and helmet if you can\, or borrow one of ours on the day (limited availability).
