DESCRIPTION:Pōhutukawa Pedal is a festive-themed group ride! Bring donations for City Mission (non perishables and essential items\, as well as new nice gifts) to put into Santa’s sleigh! Kai and inu are on us\, and children are welcome!Where: meet at Waterview Glades (which is a park by Great North rd) then a short group ride through the Unitec to Harbutt Ave for a picnic at the playground. \nWhen: 10.30am Sunday the 18th of December \nWho: Anyone\, young or old\, on any bike! This pathway is very safe\, off road through parks\, and we’ll be going at a slow casual pace. Dogs (on-leash) are welcome too! \nHave a look in the event discussion for suggestions for donations. \nSee you there!

DESCRIPTION:Ride bikes! Dress up loudly! Cruise in a friendly bike gang with retro tunes for the whole family along the Te Auaunga shared path from Mt Albert to Waterview.\n \nOnce at the Envirohub (Methodist Church grounds) there will be a dance\, and opportunity to have a picnic on the grass or partake in food from the vendors. \n \n\nWhile the ride will follow mostly shared bike paths\, there will be short sections of road and everyone is ultimately in charge of their own safety and safety of their own children.\n\n \n\nWhen: Friday 26th\, 4.30pm (ride till 5.30\, event runs till approx 8pm)\nWhere: Start at Young George Cafe 86A Hendon Ave Owairaka\, Ride the bike path with pumping tines on Josca’s bike trailer\, finish with Disco and food trucks at the Waterview Envirohub\, 1547 Great North Road\n \n \n

You’ll be finding your way to the Ostend Market by bike\, solving puzzles and conundrums along the way. This is a free\, family-oriented school holiday event. We’ll have spot prizes – and heaps of fun! \nAs always\, get to Bike Hub leading up to the event if you need help with a quick bike fix\, and the mechanics will assist you in learning how to do it yourself! \nAll ages\, but all kids need to bring their parents/caregivers\, no drop-offs. \n
