DESCRIPTION:Celebrate Pride while getting confident on two wheels! \nWhether you’ve never ridden before or you’re looking to build confidence\, this fun and inclusive workshop welcomes everyone – all genders\, all skill levels\, all bodies. \nWhat you’ll learn:\n– Balance\, braking\, and pedalling basics\n– Confidence-building skills in a queer-focused environment\n– Practical tips for riding comfortably and safely\n– A boost to get you ready for the Bike Pals Pride Rave on the 20th February! \nWhat to bring\n– Comfortable clothing\n– Water and sunscreen\n– Your own bike and helmet (if you have them) \nNeed a bike or helmet?\nLet us know when registering – please indicate your height so we can provide a properly sized bike. \nThis event is organised by Puketāpapa Climate Action & Bike Pals in collaboration with Wesley Community Centre & Bike Hub Mt Roskill as part of the Auckland Pride Festival.
