Marketing and Promoting Cycling to Your Community focuses on marketing cycling events and your cycling group to your community to grow involvement and foster connections. \nBike Auckland’s own Sue Cardwell has extensive marketing and communications experience\, and will share her vast knowledge of marketing techniques and communications tips. You’ll learn how to understand your community\, find out who they are and why they’d like to connect to your group; learn how to easily communicate your group’s vision and activities to attract new members; and learn the simple ways to tick things along to keep your members engaged. \nA three-hour gathering\, there will be time to meet your neighbours and strengthen your own connections\, while we brainstorm how to bring people together around cycling in your Bike Burb! \nSue Cardwell is a MarComms professional who works with dynamic\, purpose-led organisations that are striving to make a difference to the lives of New Zealanders.
