SUMMARY:Bike Auckland 2025 Special General Meeting and strategy discussion
DESCRIPTION:All members are warmly invited to this 2025 Special General Meeting. We’ve been working hard to update the Bike Auckland constitution to comply with recent law changes. We’ll be seeking member approval for the new constitution\, which will be shared with you in advance of this meeting. \nIn addition\, we’d like to benefit from having members together to discuss Bike Auckland’s strategic plan. The majority of the afternoon will be devoted to this insightful discussion of our strategy – I can’t wait to hear directly from members on this topic. The session will be facilitated by two experienced workshop facilitators and a summary of the discussion will be shared in the weeks following the session. \nThis will be an exciting opportunity for you to connect with other members\, and share your goals for Bike Auckland. \nThere is no charge to attend but guests are requested to register. \nMembers who can’t attend\, please send apologies via this form. \nStudio One Toi Tū is fully wheelchair accessible. A space at the back of the building will securely house the bikes of attendees.

SUMMARY:Bike Kaipātiki – Bike Recycling with Wairau Zero Waste Hub
DESCRIPTION:Bike Kaipatiki is excited to announce a new partnership with Wairau Zero Waste Hub! We’ll be hosting regular bike repair days to rescue bikes from the waste stream and get them back into the community. \nThese bikes will then be donated to our community partners who help people in need. \nJoin us on the 3rd Saturday of every month (except December and January) from 9am to 1pm! \nWhile public servicing isn’t available on these days\, we encourage everyone to come down and see what we’re doing. We also welcome volunteers of all skill levels to lend a hand! It’s a great opportunity to learn new skills and gain experience fixing bikes. \nNo pressure to stay the whole time\, and you don’t need to attend every month. \nFeel free to pop in for a bit or the whole session\, and come whenever you’re available. \nHave questions? \nPlease reach out to us and we’ll be happy to chat! \nLet’s work together to reduce waste and get more people on bikes!
