DESCRIPTION:Learning to ride a two-wheeler is one of those big childhood milestones\, and being a part of that experience as a parent is a thrill. If you’re wondering how to get started\, or experiencing a few bumps along the way\, then check out Auckland Transport’s #Learn2Ride sessions.\nThis winter we will have 4 sessions throughout the Auckland region. This is the 3rd event in the series\, and will be held on Saturday 24 June at Sir Barry Curtis Park from 10am – 12 noon.\nWe’ll be based next to the playground\, so if you’re coming by car\, park in the carpark off Stancombe Rd.\nAt Learn 2 Ride sessions\, Auckland Transport’s team of qualified instructors work alongside parents to get kids riding. Whether your child is starting on a balance bike or making the transition to pedals\, our team is there to help.\nIf your child doesn’t yet have a bike but is keen to give it a go\, there will be bikes available on a limited basis.\nSessions are weather-dependent\, and run on a drop-in basis.
