SUMMARY:529 Garage CBD pop up - #endbiketheft with Rainbow Riders
DESCRIPTION:The last 529Garage pop-up we did was a great success – over 75 people registered! So we are going to do it again on Easter Saturday at the same place! \nThe Rainbow Riders will register your bike to 529 Garage\, and give you a 529 shield. We’ll also have Rainbow Riders stickers \nFrom 10am to 1pm we will be by the Waterfront Container Library as you head towards the Wynyard Crossing walking and riding bridge from Quay street.\n\n529 Garage is a bike registration system which is free to use\, and helps to get bikes that are stolen back to their owners. Widespread 529 Garage use has the power to make bike theft inconvenient and unprofitable\, dampening the stolen bike market.\nIn Vancouver 529 Garage has been very successful\, with a 20% year on year decrease in bike theft once it was launched.\n\nPlease wear a mask. A QR code will be available for contact tracing.\n\nLet us know if you’d like to help us register bikes!

SUMMARY:Free bike assembly sessions for Christmas - Manukau
DESCRIPTION:Do you need to assemble/repair a bike for Kirihimete\, but don’t know where to start? Fear not\, Auckland\, because it’s time for the Bike fix-it clinic!\nThe amazing team behind Triple Teez will be at the Hayman Park playground in Manukau on the 20th\, 21st\, 28th and 29th December\, 9am-3pm\, helping people to assemble bikes both before and after Christmas day.\nWhat’s more\, if you have a bike that needs fixing\, they’ll be doing repairs as well.\nCycling is good for you and for the planet\, so if you’d like a hand putting one (or more!) together\, be sure to stop by so these legends can give you a hand. This is especially handy for parents who\, unlike Father Christmas\, don’t have a team of elves to help.
