DESCRIPTION:Join our neighbourhood ride! All ages are welcome for a guided circuit of our ‘hood\, celebrating our amazing cycling infrastructure and great community. We’ll finish up back at the hall for well-deserved free pizza\, soup\, and hot chocolate by the roaring fire.\nWhere do we meet?\nWe will start outside the Connecting Communities Hub\, Ōwairaka Sea Scouts Hall\, Murray Halberg Park. We’ll gather there at 3pm and once we have enough riders we’ll head off.\nWhat do I need?\nBike and helmet! (e-bikes are totally fine)\nGood vibes…\nAny friends and family who want to join!\nMore Event Details\n-Free event\n– Family-friendly\, easy guided ride – please take care and follow the guide riders.\n– Children are VERY welcome\, but must come with an adult.\n– A basic first aid kit will be provided – please bring all your bike safety gear\, and a water bottle\n– Participants are responsible for their own safety\n– Weather – if we are rained out\, we will reschedule. Check back here for any updates\nThis is an event organised by @Bike Ōwairaka\, Albert-Eden Climate Action Network and Common Folk\, with funding from Kāinga Ora and Albert-Eden Local Board.\nRules\n1. Enjoy yourselves!\n2. Follow road rules\n3. No alcohol please! (kid-friendly).\n4. Keep left on paths; and always keep between the guide cyclists – they’re there to keep the group together.\n5. Watch for cars at driveways!
