DESCRIPTION:Pride Ride: Journey on the Rainbow Path Join us for Pride Ride: Journey on the Rainbow Path\, a vibrant and inclusive bike ride that celebrates the LGBTQIA+ community. This fun and welcoming event is open to everyone\, whether you’re a seasoned cyclist or new to biking. It’s a wonderful opportunity to come together\, show support for diversity\, and ride in solidarity for a more inclusive future. \nThe event kicks off at the Wesley Community Centre and follows a scenic route towards the Rainbow Path\, located at the corner of Great North Road and Carrington Road. As we ride through the streets\, participants will experience the energy and unity of the LGBTQIA+ community\, proudly wearing rainbow colours and helmets. Upon return\, we’ll gather for a relaxed social event featuring a sausage sizzle and ice blocks available for a gold coin donation. \nAll proceeds will support our rainbow rangatahi in Puketāpapa\, ensuring that young members of the LGBTQIA+ community have the resources and support they need. This is more than just a bike ride; it’s a celebration of pride\, love\, and acceptance. So\, put on your brightest colours\, gear up with your helmets\, and ride with pride! \nPlease note – Riders must be confident to ride at least 10km on the day.\nThe whole route is along shared walk/bike paths. DESCRIPTION:Join us for a pedal-powered cruise exploring the Shared Path from Ngā Hau Māngere Bridge to Norana Esplanade. Starting at Waterfront Road Reserve\, our friendly guides from Triple Teez will lead the way and make sure everyone has a great time\, no matter your biking experience. \nPlease bring your own bike and helmet for the ride\, and a water bottle and hi-vis if you have them. Push bikes\, e-bikes and cargo bikes are all welcome. After the ride\, we’ll share some kai at Waterfront Road Reserve (we’ll bring the food!)\, unwind and meet our fellow riders. DESCRIPTION:Ride with Bike Kingsland to the Auckland War Memorial Museum to join Rainbow Riders for their group bike ride to Big Gay Out!\n \nMeet in the Nixon Park parking lot beside the North western cycleway (corner of Fourth Ave and Central Rd) at 9am. We will set off at 9.15am. The route will be mostly on protected cycleways\, with a wee section on-road between K-rd and the Domain.\n \nWe will stop for coffee on Karangahape Road before joining Rainbow Riders\, if time permits.\n \nWear sunblock\, bring water.
