SUMMARY:Ōtara Bike Rave
DESCRIPTION:Please note only 100 Riders Only.\nBust out the fairy lights\, strap some speakers to your bike\, dress up in your wildest costume and join us for the most fun you can have on two wheels.\nThe Ōtara Bike Rave starts with a party at the Ōtara Bike Burb located in the Ōtara Town Centre. There’ll be a chance for you to show off your bike-creation\, and have a wiggle to a DJ before we head off on a 4.5km sunset cruise\, surprising and delighting the public as we go.\nThe ride takes us down lovegrove passing through our new beautiful bridge by the Otara waterways. We then follow the path making our way onto Hills Rd towards Johnstone Rd\, then back onto the waterways path towards Ngati Otara. We will then head back down Otara road making our way back to The Ōtara Bike Burb. Here we’ll park up and party to the sounds of our resident DJ. Free kai\, snacks & non alcoholic drinks provided after the ride to participants to give you an energy boost to dance the rest of the night away.\nRegistrations Open: 2PM – 2:55pm\n3:00pm – 3:45pm: Twilight cruise around Ōtara.\n4pm – 7pm: Kai\, DJ and Disco party + Free GIVEAWAYS\nThe Ōtara Bike Rave is a FREE ticketed event\, presented by the The Ōtara Bike Burb\, The Ōtara Kai Village\, & Bike Auckland.

DESCRIPTION:9.00am Saturday 23rd April 2022\n@ Caterpillar Cafe\, Franklin Centre\, 12 Massey Ave.\, Pukekohe\n\nFree Coffee for all attendees (courtesy Bike Auckland)\n\nHosted by Franklin Trails Group – who will give a short presentation on\n· plans to enhance urban Trails within the Pukekohe area\n· developing plans to link all our Franklin Communities to each other via a Trail network\n· building on the current success of the Pukekohe 5 Summits Trail.\nWith Bike Auckland we will also discuss “bike security” which has become an issue in Auckland. There will be an opportunity via Bike Auckland to register your bikes to Bike Auckland’s 529 App.\n\nAfter discussions\, we will set off on guided rides – choose from a range.\n· Family Ride. Exploring some of our nearby park opportunities led by Tom Forch\n· Leisure Ride around town. Led by Judy Donovan\n· Adventurer/MTB Ride. Exploring some or all of the 5 Summits Trail and some interesting off road detours. (Mainly mtb Grade 2 equivalent and quiet roads but some short sections of grade 3) Led by Andrew Sinclair\n· Longer Road option.
