SUMMARY:Big Bike Film Night: A SUNDAY IN HELL
DESCRIPTION:“Arguably the best film ever made about professional cycling” – Peter Cowie\, International Film Guide \nIn honour of Paris-Roubaix\, the most famous and the most dramatic of the spring classic “monument” races\, we’re bringing this outstanding cycling documentary to the BIG screen for ONE NZ SCREENING ONLY\, as part of our Feature Series. \nAcademy Cinemas\, Lorne St\, Auckland – Thursday 11 April\, 8.30pm \nTickets $22 Adult/ $16 for under 16s \nOLD AND GOLD!!! It really makes you never want to get on a bike again. But it is an amazing film.” – Nick Fraser\, BBC commissioning editor. \nAt this special screening\, we will have Karl Woolcott from Ride Holidays talking about their 2020 Cycling Tour to the Spring Classics; several magazines up for grabs from NZ Cycling Journal; and Jonathan Dodd will draw a Gift Voucher for a Soigneur Merino Wool Retro Cycling Jersey. \nAlso\, there will be valet bike parking on the night courtesy of our good friends at Auckland Transport Cycling. \nSo listen to the voice inside you; it’s telling you to go.
