DESCRIPTION:Bring your love of bikes and join us for a rewarding day of community bike repair at the Wairau Zero Waste Hub! \nWe’re thrilled to announce that we have an overflow of bikes in need of repair\, and we’re calling on skilled bike mechanics and enthusiasts like you to help us get them back on the road. Your expertise and passion for cycling will be invaluable as we work together to breathe new life into these bikes. \nVolunteer opportunities include mechanics\, detailing and other roles suited for those with experience in bike repair. Whether you’re a seasoned mechanic or simply passionate about bikes\, there’s a role and opportunity for you to learn more at this event. \nOnce repaired\, the bikes will be lovingly rehomed back into the community\, promoting sustainable transportation and encouraging more people to hop on their bikes. \nThis event is proudly hosted by Bike Kaipātiki and Kaipātiki Project\, with heartfelt thanks to Wairau Zero Waste Hub for generously offering their space for this fantastic initiative. \nCome join us for a day of hands-on action\, community spirit\, and pedal-powered fun! \nRefreshments provided!
