Bikes & Beers Westside

Join the Westie Bike Burbs for a bike related yarn and some beers.
Every month or so, Bike Henderson, Bike Pt Chev and Bike Te Atatu (and Bike Massey in future!) get together for a Bikes & Beers catch-up, arriving at a common venue via guided group rides. For Biketober, we’re heading to Glendene!
When Thursday 3 October, from 7.15pm

6.30pm Meet at Te Atatu Peninsula Community Centre (Te Atatu Rd entrance)
6.50pm Te Atatu Rd Underpass (connect with the Bike Pt Chev ride)
7.15 Arrive at the Westside Grille, Glendene

Bike Henderson Guided Ride
7pm Meet at EcoMatters Bike Hub in The Falls carpark.
7.15pm Arrive at the Westside Grille, Glendene

Bike Pt Chev Guided Ride
6.10pm Meet at Pt Chev Town Square
6.50pm Te Atatu Rd Underpass: 6:50pm (connect with the Bike Te Atatu ride)
7.15pm Arrive at the Westside Grille, Glendene

Bike Massey Guided Ride
N/A until Lincoln Rd to Westgate Shared Path opens post-October 2019.

If you can’t join a guided ride, feel free to make your own way to the venue. Some of us should still be there until at least 9:00pm, venue closes at 10:00pm. Stay as short or as long as you like. If you’re not comfortable riding home alone, please ask someone and they may be able to ride back with you.
Disclaimer: Please be responsible. If you’re planning to drink a lot, consider taking the 133 bus from City, Pt Chev, Te Atatu South & Henderson, or the 131 bus from Te Atatu Peninsula, Te Atatu South and Henderson (and vice-versa return). These bus routes have convenient stops in Glendene near the BP station. You’re welcome to come and talk bikes with us without your bike!
