Bikefix Session – May rd, Mount Roskill
Saturday November 12 @ 7:30 am - 9:30 am
|Recurring Event (See all)
every first and third Thursday evening, and every second Saturday morning.
We will be open at a new site at 142 May Road every first and third Thursday evening, and every second Saturday.
What’s Bike Kitchen all about?
• Work with our mechanics to learn how to fix up your own bike
• Build a bike from scratch with new and used parts
• A place to donate your old bike. The team will fix it up and ensure it finds a new home where it is needed.
• Recovering and fixing up old bikes (sourced variously from the community recycling network, individual donations, and the existing stock from bikes for refugees)
The Bike Kitchen is currently led by PATH and supported by Global Missions, Auckland Transport, and the Puketāpapa Local Board.
There are many ways to get involved. There’s no such thing as too many cooks at the Bike Kitchen – in fact, you might say “many hands make a bike work!”
Please check the Boards outside the Bike Kitchen Containers for any temporary changes to these times.
