Bike Te Atatu Group Ride to Cycle-Powered Cinema

Let’s ride together to the EcoWest Festival cycle-powered cinema in Avondale.
We’ll meet at Te Atatu Peninsula Library verandah at 5.30pm for a 5.45pm departure. And we’ll pick up any Te Atatu South bicyclists at Te Atatu underpass at 6pm.
We’ll ride off the road almost all the way, via the Northwestern Cycleway and the Waterview path to Avondale. There’s a very small amount of back-street riding once we get to Avondale.
You’ll be able to make your own way back in your own time or come back with other riders if you aren’t so confident to do that.

This ride is suitable for most ages and abilities – the route is about 11.5km one way (fairly flat) and it should take us between 40 minutes and an hour.
