Bike Rave feat. Dan Aux

Saturday May 14 @ 6:00 pm - 8:30 pm

Pimp your ride, dust off your dancing shoes and get ready to party because Bike Rave is back, this time featuring the one and only Dan Aux!

About this event

We’ll be dressing up, strapping sound-systems to our bikes and taking an evening cruise along the Western Bike Path, ending up at a silent party next to the sea.

Your DJ for the evening needs little introduction. George FM stalwart Dan Aux has been moving dancefloors for well over a decade. He’s played the country’s biggest festivals and dancefloors, shared the DJ booth with some of dance music’s brightest stars, and has even remixed the legendary Fatboy Slim.

Don’t miss Dan Aux playing Bike Rave, the City to Pt Chev Edition. Tickets are FREE, but strictly limited – grab one from Eventbrite now.

Rave times look like this:

  • 6:00pm: Registration, 53 Upper Queen Street (Rhema Media Carpark)
  • 6:15pm: Ride briefing
  • 6:30pm Sharp: The rolling rave departs
  • 7:00pm: Party arrives at Eric Armishaw Park, party with Dan Aux
  • 8:30pm: Party ends

If it’s raining on the day, the rain date is Saturday 21st May. Tickets are valid for the rain date.

Don’t have a bike, or a way to get your bike to the rave? No problem! The friendlies at Beam have offered to lend us a bunch of their sweet rides for the night – for free! Book a Beam bike here.

Bike Rave is alcohol free and kids are welcome. There’ll be complimentary fruit and ice cold Club Mate to power us through the rave. Tickets are FREE, but strictly limited – grab one now.

Bike Rave is made possible by Auckland Transport, Bike Auckland and Interesting Things with support from Beam, Club Mate and Hedset.

Please do not attend if you are unwell, or have been in contact with a confirmed case of COVID-19. Masks are encouraged.
