An event every week that begins at 12:00 pm on Sunday and Saturday, repeating indefinitely
The Bikebox (generously made possible by support from Mainfreight NZ and the Waiheke Local Board) is open Sat and Sun 12 – 4pm. We do bicycle checks ups and basic repairs.
Bikebox Waiheke is a community bicycle repair hub in Oneroa – behind the Sustainability Centre on Mako Street. Free access to advice and tools for basic bike maintenance from our team of volunteers.
Speaking of volunteers, we could do with some more! BikeBox is getting busier and we’d love to be open more & need a bit more support for/from our community. If you think you’d enjoy helping people look after their bikes we’d love to have you join us! BikeBox is open Saturday & Sunday 12-4pm, 2hr shifts available. Some training provided!
