Ecowest Fest Ride #2 – a slow roll around Te Atatu Peninsula

Bike Auckland

Brought to you by the good folks of Bike Te Atatu, this is one of two great guided rides this weekend, especially welcoming for families and new riders:

Saturday 9th April A Slow Roll around the Streets.

When: Meet at 2pm

Where: Harbourview – Orangihina Reserve (aka Harbourview People’s Park) on Te Atatu Peninsula, at the carpark opposite the Gloria Ave Roundabout

This is a hyper-local family-friendly ride to show you how easy it is to get around the ‘ninch on a bike. If you’re local, it’ll open your eyes. If you’re not local, it might change the way you think about your own neighborhood. (Is your burb on our list of easy local rides?)

The ride includes a stop for ice-cream, so bring a wee bit of cash!

NB the weather’s looking a wee bit iffy, but this is four-seasons-in-one-day Auckland, so who knows? Melanie will make a call about the weather by 10am Saturday.
