A few things are afoot (or is that a-pedal?) in the Auckland Domain – Council and Auckland Transport are changing a couple things so traffic will work better for peds and cyclists in Auckland’s oldest park.
Cycle Action had some early opportunity to feed into those ideas, and Barbara Insull, our secretary, even made it into the news about it. 30 kph speed limit, more traffic calming features, and an uphill cycle lane on Lower Domain Drive? Sounds like a good start to us.
